Both hostels are of a high standard with private facilities (toilet and bath or shower) in all rooms. Most participants will be accommodated in twin-bedded rooms but there will be some rooms of three or four beds.
The number of single rooms is very limited and there will be a surcharge of £84 for any allocated.

The cost of the visit is £564 per person. With air travel there is no reduction for juveniles.

ORGANISATION
The visit is being organised by a committee, which is responsible directly to the National Director.
ELIGIBILITY
Altar Servers and their families are eligible to join the group, together with all Guild Directors and Chaplains.
MEALS
The visit will be on a half-board basis, providing a continental breakfast and evening meal each day. Members of the group will be responsible for providing whatever food they require during the day.
PROGRAMME
The general organisation will follow closely the lines of previous visits. The programme in Rome will include several sight-seeing tours in and around the city, visiting: the four major basilicas; the tomb of St Stephen; the catacombs; the Colosseum; and other places of interest - historical as well as religious. In Assisi visits will be made to places of interest associated with the Life of St Francis.
Most of these tours will be made by bus and by walking. Coaches are only being used when essential. Although the visit is intended to be a holiday, rather than a pilgrimage, there will be several group Masses, including one at the tomb of St Stephen. It is also anticipated that the group will have an audience with the Holy Father. There will be time for private sightseeing, visits to the swimming pool, souvenir hunting and the like.
OPTIONAL EXCURSION
Optional excursions may be arranged to places such as Castel Gandolfo, the Alban Hills and to the Carceri and San Damiano in Assisi. Details of these will be made available nearer to the date of the visit.
INSURANCE
The cost of the visit does not include insurance although we insist that all participants take out adequate insurance. We also recommend that everyone apply for a 'European Health Insurance Card', which you can obtain at the Post Office, to cover any medical costs whilst anywhere in Europe. Pax Travel, the company through which this trip is being arranged offers an excellent scheme of travel insurance at a reasonable cost.
